Rebecca Douthitt 
Rebecca was born on September 3rd, 1762 in Hope,Rowan County,North Carolina. Rebecca's father was John Douthitt and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Scott. Her paternal grandfather was Robert Douthitt. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, William (Billy), James, Thomas, Isaac, Abraham, Jacob, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary. She was the third youngest of the eleven children.
