William CLAYTON 
William was born about 1651 in Of Fulwood &,Liverpool,Lancashire,England. William's father was Robert CLAYTON and his mother was Elianor ATHERTON. His paternal grandparents were Thomas CLAYTON and Anne BLUNDELL; his maternal grandparents were John ATHERTON and Mrs-John ATHERTON. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, Richard, Anne, Margaret, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died on July 8th, 1715.
