George Washington Nance Bealmear 
George Washington Nance was born on October 21st, 1873 in Arney,Owen County,Indiana. George Washington Nance's father was Henry Miller Bealmear and his mother was Caroline Orilla Carlin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Bealmear and Susan Rebecca Shipley; his maternal grandparents were William Carlin and Lucinda Orilla DeWees. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William Henry, Samuel Carlin, Charles Lawson, Daniel Thomas, Edward Garvin, Clara Orilla, Clementine Alfonsina, Cora Virginia, Mary Elizabeth and Minnie Ann. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 89 on January 14th, 1963 in Coal City,Owen County,Indiana. He was buried in Fiscus Cemetary,Owen County,Indiana.-
