Edward Garvin Bealmear 
Edward Garvin was born on May 3rd, 1878 in Coal City,Owen County,Indiana. Edward Garvin's father was Henry Miller Bealmear and his mother was Caroline Orilla Carlin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Bealmear and Susan Rebecca Shipley; his maternal grandparents were William Carlin and Lucinda Orilla DeWees. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William Henry, Samuel Carlin, Charles Lawson, George Washington Nance, Daniel Thomas, Clara Orilla, Clementine Alfonsina, Cora Virginia, Mary Elizabeth and Minnie Ann. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 61 on July 27th, 1939 in Elsberry,Lincoln County,Missouri.-
