Samuel Gilmore Young 
Samuel Gilmore was born on March 12th, 1827 in ,Jessamine County,KY.1 Samuel Gilmore's father was William L. Young and his mother was Eliza Wallace McCampbell. His paternal grandparents were John Young and Cynthia McCullough. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Andrew McCampbell, John Thomas, Archibald Cameron, James Taylor, William Lawson, Sarah Ellen and Martha Jane. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 24 on March 12th, 1851 in Sonora,,Mexico.-
