Samuel Young 
Samuel was born in 1735 in ,County,Antrim,Ireland.1 Samuel's father was Robert Young and his mother was Agnes Crockett. His paternal grandparents were John Young and Annie Houston; his maternal grandfather was John Crockett. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, James, William, Hugh, Joseph, Robert, Julia, Agnes, Margaret and Mary. He died at the age of 58 in 1793 in ,Rowan,NC.1 General Notes
Samuel b. County Antrim, Northern Ireland between 1730 and 1737, m. Jane/Jennet Haynes 1755. Left Augusta Co., VA in the 1770's and migrated either to Laurens Co., SC or to the western NC/east TN area, before going to KY after 1790.
