Martha Jane was born on March 21st, 1841 in Palmyra,,MO.1 Martha Jane's father was William L. Young and her mother was Eliza Wallace McCampbell. Her paternal grandparents were John Young and Cynthia McCullough. She had six brothers and a sister, named Andrew McCampbell, Samuel Gilmore, John Thomas, Archibald Cameron, James Taylor, William Lawson and Sarah Ellen. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 67 on June 19th, 1908 in Stillwell,,KS.-
