John Edward Young 
John Edward was born on March 31st, 1824.1 John Edward's father was William Preston Young and his mother was Margaret Young. His paternal grandparents were Robert Young and Margaret Cochran; his maternal grandparents were John Young and Mary Sitlington. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert Alexander, William Andrew, Margaret Susan, Mary Jane and Agnes Melinda. He was the oldest of the six children.
