John Young 
John was born on May 14th, 1796 in ,Woodford County,KY.1 John's father was John Young and his mother was Cynthia McCullough. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Young and Jane Haynes. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Archibald, Samuel, Lawson, William L., Thomas, Robert, Jane, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Nancy. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named James Rankin. He died at the age of 53 on January 24th, 1850 in ,Fayette County,KY. He was buried in John Young Family Cemetery,Fayette County,KY.1 1 General Notes
