Robert was born on July 28th, 1830 in Shelby,IN. Robert's father was John Worland and his mother was Catherine Gough. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Worland and Verlinda Hardy; his maternal grandparents were John B. GOUGH and Mary UNKNOWN. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Ignatius, Marcellus, John Oscar, Joseph Ferneding, Arnold Elder, Susan Mary and Anna America. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 in 1900 in Neely,Leavenworth,KS.-
