His paternal grandparents were Thomas Worland and Verlinda Hardy; his maternal grandparents were John B. GOUGH and Mary UNKNOWN. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Ignatius, Marcellus, Robert, Joseph Ferneding, Arnold Elder, Susan Mary and Anna America. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 86 on March 3rd, 1920 in Shelby,IN.-
