Rail Road Notice
The Ohio & Pennsylvania Railroad Company hereby give notice to Barbary
Sweezy, widow George Sweezy, Elizabeth Sweezy, Daniel Sweezy, John Sweezy,
Catherine M'Donel (intermarried with Sampson M'Donel), Polly Jones
(intermarried with Jeremiah Jones) Ellen M'Donel (intermarried with Milo
McDonel) heirs or devisees of George Sweezy, dec'd., owners or reputed
owners of the lands and tenements hereinafter mentioned, that the said
Company have deposited with the Prothonotary of the Court of Common Pleas
of Beaver County, on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to be filed by him,
an instrument or act of appropriation of the lands and tenements of the
above named persons, situate in the township of Big Beaver, and the rights
and interests therein intended to be appropriated b and for the use of said
company and their successors as necessary for their Railroad, being
described as follows:  Commencing at a point on the center line of the Ohio
& Pennsylvania Railroad at its intersection with the line between Barbary
Sweezy and heirs of George Sweezy, dec'd, and Ray and Johnston, running
thence north 89 deg., east 40 feet, thence north 31 deg. 5 min. east 417
feet to the line between Barbara Sweezy and Sweezy's heirs and J. Freed,
thence south 89 deg. west 80 feet, thence north 89 deg. East 50 feet to the
point of beginning, according to a point and description thereof attached
to and made part of the act of appropriation, and after publication hereof
shall have been made for the term of three weeks, the said act of
appropriation will be prosecuted according to the acts of Assembly in such
case made and provided.

Last Will of George Swasey
Registered Jan. 16,1843

I, George Sweazey being afflicted in body but of sound mind and memory, and
feeling it my duty to arrange my earthly affairs so that there may be no
dispute after my decease, I do thus make my last will and testament.  And
first of all I give my soul to God who gave it in hope of salvation through
the Lord Jesus Christ my Savior and my body to the earth from whence it was
taken there to remain to the morning of the resurrection.  And secondly my
will is that all the property I possess (i.e.) lands houses horses cows
hogs etc and house hold goods and chattels and all I won or possess shall
remain in the hands of my wife Barbara and to be at her disposal as long as
she shall live.  I make Robert Wallace my Executor at her death I will that
what remains of my property be sold and equally divided among my children
or divided equally among them.

In testimony whereof I have set my hand and seal this second day December
one thousand eight hundred and forty two. Dec. 2, 1842

Beaver County SS::  Be it remembered that on the 16 day of January 1843,
before me Thompson M. Johnson Register for the Probate of wills, etc in and
for said county personally came John Sumerville and Adame Cole who being
duly sworn did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard
George Swezey the testator within named sign seal pronounce and declare the
foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament and
that at the time of so doing he was of sound mind memory and understanding
to the best of these deponents knowledge observation and belief.

Beaver County Article Book 3, Page 130, filed June 19, 1839:  Agreement
between Jacob Freed of Big Beaver and George Swesey of North Sewickley for
the purchase of 15 acres of Jacobs land for a cost of $150.00.
