Gilbert Searls 
Gilbert was born on June 3rd, 1811 in Greene Co,New York. Gilbert's father was Daniel Searls and his mother was Phebe Fisher. His paternal grandparents were John Searls and Hannah Ireland; his maternal grandparents were William Fisher and Charity Searls. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William, James, Daniel Jr, Henry, Caleb, Isaiah, Solomon, Hannah M, Charity and Abigail. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Adam, Anna B, Hannah and Martha. He died at the age of 49 on October 9th, 1860 in Winnebago Co,Illinois.General Notes
