Charity Searls

Charity was born on July 10th, 1763 in New York.  Charity's father was John Searls and her mother was Hannah Ireland.  Her maternal grandparents were Adam Ireland and Martha Fowler. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Isaiah, Adam, John, Caleb, Daniel, Isaac, Mary, Sarah, Rhoda, Hannah and Phebe.  She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 78 on September 29th, 1841 in New York.  She was buried in Searles Family Cemetery,New Baltimore,Greene Co,New York.

‌Charity and William were married in a religious ceremony about 1781 in ? New York.  They had a daughter named Phebe.
