Her paternal grandparents were William Godfrey Morris and Nancy Young; her maternal grandparents were John Taylor and Catherine Wetzel. She had four brothers and six sisters, named John Taylor, William E., Joseph M., James Irwin, Nancy O. Catherine, Mary Ellen, Louisa Jane, Isabella, Sarah Melissa and Amanda Maria Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 79 in 1944 in ,Warren,IA. She was buried in Shaver Cemetery.-
