Myra Alma was born on March 1st, 1896 in Coal City,IN. Myra Alma's father was George Oliver Mitten and her mother was Fayetta Mae Phipps. Her maternal grandparents were Washington Hamilton PHIPPS and Maria Louisa Morris. She had three brothers and a sister, named Bernice Ruth, George Washington Nimrod, William Byron and Lois Edna. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 87 in October 1983 in Martinsvlle,IN.-
