Her paternal grandparents were Riley Jackson and Elizabeth Lee; her maternal grandparents were James S. Young and Sarah Mortimer. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jerry Young, Charles Thomas, James Burt, Emma, Tessora Jessica, Ella, Nancy and Bessie Beatrice. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 79 on June 17th, 1953 in Kansas City,Wyandotte,KS.-
