Bessie Beatrice was born on September 6th, 1887 in Shelbyville,Shelby,IN. Bessie Beatrice's father was James Franklin Jackson and her mother was Nancy Young. Her paternal grandparents were Riley Jackson and Elizabeth Lee; her maternal grandparents were James S. Young and Sarah Mortimer. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jerry Young, Charles Thomas, James Burt, Emma, Tessora Jessica, Elizabeth Marie, Ella and Nancy. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 78 in April 1966.-
