John Gwin 
John was born about 1805. John's father was James Gwin and his mother was Rachel Stephenson. His paternal grandparents were David Gwin and Jane Carlisle. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Matthew, James, David, Samuel, Eliza, Rachel, Ann, Lucinda and Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
