Robert was born on November 20th, 1796 in ,Woodford,KY. Robert's father was Robert Guyn and his mother was Jane Black. His paternal grandparents were Robert Guyn and Jane Raburn; his maternal grandparents were Robert Black and Ann Spears. He had ten brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Hugh Spears, Samuel Raburn, Moses Campbell, William, Thomas Reed, Harvey, Andrew Rainey, Adam Rankin, Jane Spears, Louisa Ann and Paulina. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 53 on March 11th, 1850 in ,Woodford,KY. He was buried in Ebenezer Church Cemetery,Jessamine,KY.General Notes
