Andrew Rainey was born on April 7th, 1819 in ,Woodford,KY. Andrew Rainey's father was Robert Guyn and his mother was Jane Black. His paternal grandparents were Robert Guyn and Jane Raburn; his maternal grandparents were Robert Black and Ann Spears. He had ten brothers and three sisters, named Robert, James, John, Hugh Spears, Samuel Raburn, Moses Campbell, William, Thomas Reed, Harvey, Adam Rankin, Jane Spears, Louisa Ann and Paulina. He was the second youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 90 on May 21st, 1909.-
