Elijah Crockett

Elijah was born in 1811. Elijah's father was John Drake Crockett and his mother was Jane Cartmill. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Crockett and Mary Drake. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Eli, James, Robert, Cartmill, Carlisle, John Jackson, Nancy Mary, Julia Ann and Margaret. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.

‌Elijah and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on July 20th, 1839 in ,Bath,KY. They had five sons and a daughter, named Eli, Robert, John, William, Thompson and Sarah.
