James Arthur was born on October 20th, 1892 in Terre Haute,Vigo,IN. James Arthur's father was John Coltrin and his mother was Ella Eliza Toner. His paternal grandparents were John Melton Coltrin and Minerva Reeves; his maternal grandparents were James M. Toner and Susan Young. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Matthias, George H., Walter Theodore and Mellie Toner. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 101 on January 4th, 1994 in Johnstown,Cambria,PA.-
