Oscar B was born on July 27th, 1873 in Robinson,Brown,KS. Oscar B's father was James Anderson BAXTER and his mother was Charlotte Temple Morris. His paternal grandparents were James BAXTER and Delilah DEWITT; his maternal grandparents were William Godfrey Morris and Frances Gordon. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James William, Henry Lane, Alonzo C, Abraham Lincoln, Charles H, Alice Isabel, Mary, Alvira, Ella and Ida. He was the youngest of the eleven children.-
