James William BAXTER 
James William was born on March 5th, 1852 in Shelbyville,Shelby IN. James William's father was James Anderson BAXTER and his mother was Charlotte Temple Morris. His paternal grandparents were James BAXTER and Delilah DEWITT; his maternal grandparents were William Godfrey Morris and Frances Gordon. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Henry Lane, Alonzo C, Abraham Lincoln, Charles H, Oscar B, Alice Isabel, Mary, Alvira, Ella and Ida. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 62 on February 9th, 1915 in Oswego,KS.-
