Margaret was born in 1218 in of,Winchester,Hampshire,England.1 Margaret's father was Roger , 2nd Earl Of Winchester de Quincy and her mother was Helen (Elena) de Galloway. Her paternal grandparents were Saher IV, de Quincy and Margaret de Beaumont; her maternal grandparents were Alan McDonald De Galloway and Ragnhild (Hilda) of the Isles. She had three sisters named Elizabeth de, Helen (Ellen) de and Elena. She was the oldest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Hawise de. She died before March 12th, 1284.1 General Notes
