Maud de Senlis

Maud was born in 1094 in Hampshire,England.¹ Maud's father was Simon de St. Liz Earl of Northampton and her mother was Matilda (Maud) of Northumbria. Her paternal grandfather was Ranulph The Rich De St Liz of Normandy; her maternal grandparents were Waltheof II Earl of Northumbria and Judith de Lens. She had two brothers and a sister, named St. Waltheof of Melrose, Simon II de St. Liz and Isabel De. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Malcolm, Henry, Claricia and Hodierna. She died at the age of 46 in 1140.¹
