Sir William , Earl of Northampton was born in 1312 in of Caldecot,Northampton,England.1 Sir William , Earl of Northampton's father was Humphry VIII, Earl of Hereford & Essex de Bohun and his mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet. His paternal grandparents were Humphry VII, Earl of Hereford & Essex de Bohun and Maud de Fiennes. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Hugh, Humphrey, John , Earl of Hereford & Essex, Edward, Humphrey de Bohun , Earl of Hereford, Edmund, Alianore, Mary, Margaret, Aeneas (Agnes) and Isabel. He had a half-brother named William. He died at the age of 48 on September 16th, 1360 in Walden Abbey,Essex.1 General Notes
