Yolanda de was born about 1198 in Of,Courtenay,Loiret,France.  Yolanda de's father was Pierre II De Courtenay and her mother was Yolanda, Condesa de Flanders.  Her paternal grandparents were Pierre I Capet de France and Elizabeth De Courtenay; her maternal grandparents were Baudouin VIII Compte De Flanders y Hainault and Margaret , of Alsace de Lorraine. She had five brothers and nine sisters, named Philippe De, Pierre De, Robert De, Henri De, Baudoin De, Marguerite De, Marguerite (Sibylle), Sibylle De, Yolande De, Agnes De, Elizabeth De, Marie De, Eleanor De and Constance De.  She was the sixth oldest of the fifteen children. She had a half-sister named Maud De.  She died in 1233.1
