Samuel Howard Zike 
Samuel Howard was born on November 18th, 1877 in Lawrence County, Indiana. Samuel Howard's father was Andrew J. Zike and his mother was Martha L. Moore. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Zike and Mary Dianna Baugh; his maternal grandparents were John Moore and Rachel Lemonds. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Pinkney Green, William Harvey, Joseph Alexander, Nancy Malinda, America Alice, Margarett Jane, Martha Susan and Myrtel Edna. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 76 on November 17th, 1954. He was buried in Clover Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, Indiana.-
