Joseph Alexander Zike 
Joseph Alexander was born on February 18th, 1868 in Lawrence County, Indiana. Joseph Alexander's father was Andrew J. Zike and his mother was Martha L. Moore. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Zike and Mary Dianna Baugh; his maternal grandparents were John Moore and Rachel Lemonds. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Pinkney Green, William Harvey, Samuel Howard, Nancy Malinda, America Alice, Margarett Jane, Martha Susan and Myrtel Edna. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 83 in 1951. He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Clear Creek, Monroe, Indiana.-
