Nancy Malinda was born on September 12th, 1861 in Lawrence County, Indiana. Nancy Malinda's father was Andrew J. Zike and her mother was Martha L. Moore. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Zike and Mary Dianna Baugh; her maternal grandparents were John Moore and Rachel Lemonds. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Pinkney Green, William Harvey, Joseph Alexander, Samuel Howard, America Alice, Margarett Jane, Martha Susan and Myrtel Edna. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 65 on December 23rd, 1926 in Lawrence County, Indiana.
