Joseph Zike 
Joseph was born on October 10th, 1833 in Kentucky. Joseph's father was Joseph Zike and his mother was Sarah Goforth. His paternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey; his maternal grandfather was Thomas, Sr. Goforth. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Jordan, George W., Martha, Mary Jane, Margaret, Lydia, Lucy and Susan. He died at the age of 70 on December 1st, 1903 in Kentucky. He was buried in Nicholsville Cemetery, Nicholsville, Jessamine Co., Kentucky.-
