Roy Vaught 
Roy was born on August 15th, 1910. Roy's father was Thomas M. Vaught and his mother was Izella Ethel Shields. His maternal grandparents were James Madison Shields and Mary Jane Heltonburg. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Russell, Glen Hershel, Oneta, Lola Mae, Ruth, Rose and Hazel June. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.General Notes
Roy was a Lieutenant in the U. S. Navy for 21 years.
