Barton M. Shields

Barton M. was born about 1843 in Indiana.  Barton M.'s father was D. W. Shields and his mother was Nancy Agnes Snoddy.  His paternal grandparents were William L., Sr. Shields and Nancy Elizabeth Nash. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William W., John T., Joseph L., Samuel L., Mary S., Nancy J., Susanna J., Julia A. and Angeline A..  He was the second youngest of the ten children.
