James Gibson was born on May 9th, 1858 in Boone,Iowa. James Gibson's father was Amzi Dodd and his mother was Rebecca Gibson. His paternal grandparents were Dr. Stephen DODD and Phebe Babbit; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Gibson and Mary. He had a brother and a sister, named Albert and Hannah. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John L, George W, William, Mary Livonia and Livona. He died at the age of 79 in 1937 in Ontario,IA.
