Her paternal grandparents were Seth Babbitt and Jemima Lindsley; her maternal grandparents were Elijah Beach and Sarah Medless. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Elias, Aaron, Moses, Jemima, Tryphena and Joanna. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 55 on October 3rd, 1847 in Milledgeville,Carroll Co.,Illinois. She was buried in Milledgeville,Carroll Co.,Illinois.1 1 General Notes
