Parmenas Dod 
Parmenas was born in 1748 in Mendham,Morris Co.,New Jersey. Parmenas' father was Stephen Dod and his mother was Deborah Brown. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Dod and Elizabeth Riggs; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Brown and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Lebbeus, Thaddeus, Daniel L., Ucal, Elizabeth, Keziah, Hannah, Elizabeth, Deborah, Abigail and Sarah. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 63 on April 28th, 1811 in Mendham,Morris Co.,New Jersey. He was buried in First Presbyterian Church.1 2 General Notes
