Hannah Varner 
Hannah was born about 1803 in Pennsylvania.1 Hannah's father was John Varner and her mother was Sarah Moore. Her paternal grandparents were Adam Varner and Eve Lnu; her maternal grandparents were John Moore and Hannah Armstrong. She had six brothers and a sister, named Samuel, John "Johnny" Varner, Isaac, Joseph W., Daniel M, Armstrong M and Sarah. She was the oldest of the eight children.General Notes

It is said that Hannah and John had at least eight children, only six of whom are known.
They had five sons and a daughter, named John Varner, Joseph C, George S, Isaac D., Daniel W. and Phoeba Ann.
