Daniel M Varner 
Daniel M was born about 1813 in Bucks County Pennsylvania.1 Daniel M's father was John Varner and his mother was Sarah Moore. His paternal grandparents were Adam Varner and Eve Lnu; his maternal grandparents were John Moore and Hannah Armstrong. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, John "Johnny" Varner, Isaac, Joseph W., Armstrong M, Hannah and Sarah. He was the third youngest of the eight children. Like his two brothers, Daniel married an Andrews girl. The Andrews sisters were the daughter s of strict, Quaker parents. When Malinda married Daniel Varner, she was prohibited from rem aining a member of her church. Daniel and Malinda settled on a farm located on the south sid e of Flag Run. The Copelands and other Varner descendants lived north of Flag Run. The origi nal Varner home was a log cabin on a hill. Later descendants, Howard and Clel, told of seein g panthers and bears in earlier times around the old cabin.
‌Daniel M and Malinda were married in a religious ceremony on April 20th, 1836.1 They had two sons and three daughters, named John S J, Wilson, Lucy Campsidel, Irena E and Malinda Ann E.

Malinda Ann E Varner
Malinda Ann E was born about 1849 in Ohio.1 She died due to rheumatism on September 12th, 1887 in Belmont County, Oho.1
Wilson Varner
Wilson was born on September 1st, 1858 in Belmont County, Oho.1 He died due to typhoid fever at the age of 24 on September 12th, 1882 in Belmont County, Oho.1
