John Russell 
John was born in 1842 in Ohio.1 John's father was Samuel Russell and his mother was Mary Irwin. His paternal grandparents were John Russell and Hannah "Patience" Rankin. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Samuel F, William, Susan, Ellen and Martha. He was the second youngest of the seven children.-
