John Rankin 
John was born on October 26th, 1821.1 John's father was Armstrong Rankin and his mother was Hannah Dilley. His maternal grandparents were Jr. Dilley John and Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Hiram, William J, James Louden, Thompson, Barnett, Mary Polly, Penina, Sarah Ann, Asbernia, Mahalia, Matilda and Diana A. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 22 on August 6th, 1844.1 -
