Diana A was born on September 13th, 1839.1 Diana A's father was Armstrong Rankin and her mother was Hannah Dilley. Her maternal grandparents were Jr. Dilley John and Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Hiram, John, William J, James Louden, Thompson, Barnett, Mary Polly, Penina, Sarah Ann, Asbernia, Mahalia and Matilda. She was the youngest of the thirteen children.-
