William Sherman Markin

William Sherman was born on June 29th, 1866 in Vinton County, Ohio.¹   William Sherman's father was James M. Markin and his mother was Isabella.  His paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard. He had two brothers named Amos and Benjamin F.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had five half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named John Wesley, Cornelius Singleton, James M., Daniel W, George S, Mary (Polly), Caroline, Anna, Sarah Ann, Emaline (Molly), Martha and Nancy Arena.  He died at the age of 75 on January 15th, 1942 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.¹ 

They had three sons and two daughters, named Living, Louden, Emmit, Maggie and Bessie.
