Myrtle Dell was born on August 7th, 1876 in Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 Myrtle Dell's father was Cornelius Singleton Markin and her mother was Eliza Jane Glandon. Her paternal grandparents were James M. Markin and Elizabeth (Betsey) Blankenship; her maternal grandparents were John Glandon and Theodocia Runion. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Loudon Francisco, Joseph Jackson, James Alfred Garfield, Dempsey Ellen, Mary Alice, Minnie Ivan, Annie Hestella E, Chloe Lucretia and Baby Girl. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 1 on July 17th, 1878 in Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 -
