Mary Alice Markin 
Mary Alice was born on January 3rd, 1870 in Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 Mary Alice's father was Cornelius Singleton Markin and her mother was Eliza Jane Glandon. Her paternal grandparents were James M. Markin and Elizabeth (Betsey) Blankenship; her maternal grandparents were John Glandon and Theodocia Runion. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Loudon Francisco, Joseph Jackson, James Alfred Garfield, Dempsey Ellen, Minnie Ivan, Myrtle Dell, Annie Hestella E, Chloe Lucretia and Baby Girl. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 66 on April 7th, 1936 in Ashland City, Cheatham County, Tennessee.1 -
