Christopher Richard Markin 
Christopher Richard was born on April 21st, 1827 in Lawrence County, Ohio.1 Christopher Richard's father was Thomas Markin and his mother was Francis Sumter. His paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Oliver Hazard Perry, Thomas Jefferson, Mary, Lucinda D, Eliza and Sarah Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 76 on January 13th, 1904 in Blackford County, Indiana.1 
‌Christopher Richard and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on April 27th, 1851 in Blackford County, Indiana.1 They had six sons and four daughters, named Charles, Thomas, Elias, Lewis, Albert, Andrew, Dorothea, Frances, Sarah and Mary.
