Sarah Lusk 
Sarah was born about 1770 in Union District, South Carolina.1 Sarah's father was Robert Lusk and her mother was Mary Vance. Her paternal grandparents were James Lusk and Jennett; her maternal grandfather was James Vance. She had six brothers and three sisters, named James Vance, Robert, Andrew, Thomas, John, George Vance, Nancy Agnes, Mary and Jennett. She was the second youngest of the ten children.
