Robert Lusk 
Robert was born about 1730 in , Ulster, County Derry, Ireland.1 Robert's father was James Lusk and his mother was Jennett. His paternal grandfather was John Lusk. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Sarah. He died about 1804 in , Critendon, Kentucky.1 General Notes

According to The History of Yalobusha County Mississippi, Robert and Mary Vance Lusk, along with several of their adult children, including Major James Vance Lusk, went to Kentucky and Illinois about 1799, leaving the rest of the family in South Carolina, a move which marked the beginning of political and philosophical differences among the family.
They had six sons and four daughters, named James Vance, Robert, Andrew, Thomas, John, George Vance, Nancy Agnes, Mary, Jennett and Sarah.
