Mary Lusk 
Mary was born about 1763 in Union District, South Carolina.1 Mary's father was Robert Lusk and her mother was Mary Vance. Her paternal grandparents were James Lusk and Jennett; her maternal grandfather was James Vance. She had six brothers and three sisters, named James Vance, Robert, Andrew, Thomas, John, George Vance, Nancy Agnes, Jennett and Sarah. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
